Stage 1: |
At Gaurikund (1981 m), have a refreshing bath, in the
hot water springs.
Trek 14 kms to Kedarnath (3583 m).
The trek winds along the river Mandakini, through dense forests, and
across roaring waterfalls. |
| Stage 2: |
| The 6 km trek from Kedarnath to Vasukital (4135 m) is
a continuous ascent along a goat track, and offers a wonderful panoramic
view of the Chaukhamba peaks. |

» The Har-ki-Doon Trek |
| |
|
Situated at an elevation of 3566 m , the valley of Har-ki-Doon,
is surrounded by glittering peaks and dense forests.
The lush forest cover is abundant in wildlife, and is a veritable
paradise for bird-watchers and nature lovers. The trek starts at Netwar,
passes through Osla, and ends at Har-ki-Doon. |

» Chandrashila Winter Trek |
| |
|
The Chandrashila Winter Trek Since most of the peaks
of the Garhwal Himalayas are difficult to scale in winter, a climb
to a mini peak, Chandrashila, in Chamoli district of Uttar Pradesh,
is arranged for trek programs. This includes scaling, skiing, and
trekking, through a landscape teeming with exotic flora and fauna,
lakes and meadows, full of fresh snow. The grassy slopes covered
with snow, make it an ideal ski course. |

| Day 1 : |
| Drive 185 kms to Guptakashi ( 1319 m ) from Rishikesh.
From here, the view of Chaukhamba peak, is simply magnificent. Night
halt at tourist bungalow. |
| Day 2: |
| Drive 14 kms to Okhimath and 8 kms to Deoriatal. Trek
16 kms to Dogalbitta, through dense forests. Night halt at Dogalbitta. |
| Day 3: |
| Trek 9 kms to Chopta (3000 m ) on snow covered slopes,
where a base camp is established. |
| Day 4: |
| Attemp Chandrashila peak (3679 m)via Tungnath; trek
7 kms and return to base camp, or acclimatize for the next day's attempt. |
| Day 5: |
| After breakfast, drive 252 kms to Rishikesh via Gopeshwar.

» The Dehradun -Kempty Falls Trek |
| |
|
This trek starts at Dehradun, passes through Mussoorie,
George Everest, Bhadraj and Jwala Devi, and ends at Kempty Falls. |

| Day 1 : |
| Arrival at Dehradun. |
| Day 2 : |
| After breakfast, drive 35 kms to Mussoorie with packed
lunch. On the way visit Malsi deer park. After sightseeing at Mussoorie,
drive 8 kms to George Everest. Dinner and overnight stay in camp at
George Everest. |
| Day 3 : |
| After breakfast, trek 8 kms to Jwala Devi with packed
lunch. Spend some time viewing the Himalayan peaks, Yamuna river,
and the Mussoorie valley. Trek back to George Everest camp in the
afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay in the camp. |
| Day 4 : |
| After breakfast, trek 12 kms to Bhadraj temple with
packed lunch. Spend some time feasting your eyes on the Shivalik ranges,
Doon valley, Dakpather and Asan Barrage. Trek 12 kms back to George
Everest camp in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay in the camp. |
| Day 5 : |
| After breakfast, trek 8 kms to Kempty Falls with packed
lunch. After having a bath at Kempty Falls, drive back 50 kms to Dehradun,
via Mussorie. |

» The Kalindikhal Trek |
| |
|
The Kalindikhal trek promises to be a rare experience,
even for the most seasoned trekkers. It starts at Nandanvan, and
ends at Badrinath. This trek is for 12 days, under normal weather
conditions. |

Stage 1 : |
| The first stage of the trek is from Nandanvan (4500
m) to Vasukital (5300 m). This stage is basically, for getting acclimatized,
to the existing conditions. This trek is a gradual ascent of 10 kms. |
| Stage 2 : |
| Thereafter, the trek negotiates Kharapathar (8 kms)
at a height of 5456 m, before camping at Kalindi base (5590 m), a
further 6 kms down. |
| Stage 3 : |
| Cross the Kalindi Pass and trek down 14 kms to Arwatal
(3980 m). |
| Stage 4 : |
| Trek 18 kms to Ghastoli (3600 m). |
| Stage 5 : |
Trek 17 kms to Badrinath (3100 m).

» The Pithoragarh - Sinla Pass Trek |

This exciting trekking route trails along a large portion
of the Kailash - Mansarovar route. The trekker in the process,
also, gets an exposure to the intriguing socio - cultural life of
the people living in the Chaudans, Byans, and Darma valleys.
Pithoragarh, also called 'Miniature Kashmir', is the base for treks
to Jolinkong.
The route to Sinla Pass, is along a heavy blanket of snow, and
from here, the beautiful Chhota Kaikash peak is perennially in view. |
